Dyno provides customers with round-the-clock drainage, plumbing and heating services, so its engineers need vans they can count on to get them to the scenes of home emergencies and problems as quickly and reliably as possible. For Dyno franchise Reza Asghar, that means the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
Mr Asghar’s Beckenham-based business represents the nationwide specialist in south London and Kent. It operates a fleet of 20 vans, the latest seven of which are fuel-efficient Sprinter 313 CDI models supplied by the Mercedes-Benz East London Van Centre.
The Dealer’s Key Account Manager Erica Stredwick has also taken orders for a further four vehicles, these being 314 CDI variants with cleaner, ‘greener’ Euro 6 engines. As with his previous Sprinters, Mr Asghar will again be taking advantage of competitive funding support from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to acquire his new vans.
The Sprinters, which wear Dyno’s high-visibility orange and grey livery, carry high-pressure jetting machines, hoses and water tanks, cctv cameras and other, more utilitarian tools such as drills and spades.
Mr Asghar explained: “The nature of our work means that when customers call it’s invariably to report an emergency. For this reason it’s crucial that we can rely on our vehicles, which is why I have chosen Mercedes-Benz.”
While a couple of the new vehicles have Long bodies, most are Medium-length versions. “Several of the south London postcodes that we cover are highly congested and fact that the Medium variant is just over a metre shorter makes it much easier to park, while it also has a significantly tighter turning circle,” said Mr Asghar.
The Sprinters came with a reassuring armoury of standard-fit safety systems. “Safety is one of our key priorities,” he continued. “So I’m happy that these vehicles are helping to fulfil my Duty of Care, both to my own employees and to other road users.”
Like all Mercedes-Benz vans, the Sprinters came with three-year, unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranties. As they are being maintained within the official Mercedes-Benz Dealer Network, they also attract MobiloVan cover, which includes free roadside assistance for up to 30 years.
The Mercedes-Benz East London Van Centre has achieved Mercedes-Benz Van ProCenter accreditation, a demanding standard of excellence that assures customers of the industry’s highest levels of service. This is borne out the experience of Mr Asghar, who confirmed: “The support we’ve received from Erica Stredwick and her colleagues has been excellent.”
