IVECO UK has opened its new headquarter offices at Phoenix House in Basildon that will provide staff with a modern, spacious, and technology-infused space. Conveniently located just an hour from Central London, extensive road and rail links provide a convenient means of reaching the new business hub. IVECO’s continued presence in Basildon highlights the location as being a perfect fit for business, emphasised by the ongoing investment within the local area.

The office features a welcoming and spacious open-plan format with the use of glass throughout, accentuating an airy feel, allowing natural light to reach almost every workspace. A large meeting room fitted with the latest conferencing technology is complemented by several smaller rooms for hosting meetings or important business calls. This architecture helps promote cross-pollination between departments and encourages closer collaboration. It is the ideal space for future expansion and growth in the UK, supported by Basildon and Essex councils and Phoenix House landlord Barry Mather who be-spoked the offices to IVECO’s exacting specification.

In total IVECO employs 300 colleagues in the UK, 77 of which are based in the Basildon HQ. IVECO has a long-standing and widespread presence in the United Kingdom with a network of 81 authorised outlets covering sales and service activities for its entire range of light and heavy commercial vehicles.

IVECO has been a pioneer in alternative fuels for over two decades, today offering low and zero-emissions solutions for every mission. A global €1 billion investment by the Brand saw the renewal of the full heavy, medium and light commercial range, enhanced with the latest technology and the most efficient powertrains to date. More operators onboarding gas trucks has contributed to IVECO’s market share doubling in the past five years.

Special guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony included Head of the Economic Section at the Italian Embassy, Counsellor Dino Sorrentino, Luca Sra – President, Truck Business Unit, Iveco Group, Simone Olivati – President, Financial Services, Iveco Group, IVECO customers, key members of the media, as well as representatives from Essex and Basildon Council. The ongoing support of the Italian Embassy helps reinforce IVECO’s commitment to the UK.

Luca Sra said: “The opening of our new UK Headquarters marks a significant milestone for IVECO. This state-of-the-art facility not only reflects our commitment to innovation and growth, but also underscores our dedication to providing our employees with an inspiring and collaborative work environment. Our continued investment in the UK market, supported by this modern base, will enable us to better serve our customers and drive forward our mission of delivering sustainable and efficient transport solutions.”

Vincenzo Nicolò, IVECO UK & Ireland Business Director, commented: “We have created a modern and highly specified business space to encourage colleagues to come together to closely collaborate, innovate, and enhance the brand.”
