Dennison Trailers is delighted to announce a new deal with Seacon Transport, a specialist in the haulage of Newsprint, Forest Products and Steel (Coils, Plates & Sections).
In total, 8 new Curtainsiders and 8 new Sliding Hood Coil Carriers have been ordered to complete this new deal.
The coil carriers will be used to transport steel coils to various steel processing plants where the coils are converted into steel plates and narrow coil, used predominantly for the automotive industry, including a major contract with Vauxhall Motors in Luton.
Thanks to the innovative sliding hoods, the coil carriers provide the ultimate in flexibility, the return loads will carry around 5,000 tonnes of bricks per month too!
The Curtainsiders will be used to carry forest products from a deep-water shipping terminal on the Thames in Kent and will include paper reels, baled wood pulp, ensuring Seacon Transport operate as a major haulier of photocopying paper throughout the country.
As the first deal between the two companies, Roly Edwards, Director of Seacon Transport had this to say of the deal:

He went on to add:

Both teams are looking forward to seeing how the trailers perform. With Seacon Transport still to take ownership of a further four coil carriers, we are confident they have made the right decision with their investment and look forward to a long and lasting relationship.
