Kings Heavy Haulage (Bristol) Ltd has boosted productivity by up to 15%, equivalent to gaining three extra working days every month, thanks to an integrated fleet management solution.

The specialist haulage company, renowned for moving everything from sculptures to generators and large plant, attributes these gains to Webfleet, Bridgestone’s trusted fleet management platform, and its integration with Eurora Group’s Cyrus transport management software (TMS).

“Streamlining our processes with Webfleet has revolutionised our business operations,” said James Hallier, General Manager at Kings Heavy Haulage (Bristol) Ltd.

“The ability to remotely download tachograph data, provide dynamic ETAs to customers, and guide drivers using tailored navigation has elevated both our service quality and operational efficiency.”

Kings Heavy Haulage adopted PRO 8 devices, which support truck-specific navigation and automated vehicle inspection reporting. The system’s integration with the company’s maintenance processes has simplified defect reporting, improved repair response times, and contributed to a safer fleet.

“Safety is central to everything we do,” Hallier said. “Features such as guided navigation routes, tailored to our vehicles and loads, have helped us avoid risks such as bridge strikes, while maintaining compliance has never been easier.

“This level of insight has become a key part of how we manage our fleet day-to-day.”

The solution, tailored to meet Kings’ specific needs by Webfleet partner and telematics specialist MG Fleet, combines advanced telematics with the company’s existing TMS, enabling real-time ETAs and geofencing to improve visibility and customer communication.

Neil Gittins, Director of MG Fleet, added: “Every business is unique, and the integration of Kings’ systems with telematics technology has been instrumental in delivering the results they’ve seen.

“It’s a great example of how integrating fleet management solutions with cutting edge transport software can drive both productivity and reliability.”

Kings also uses the system to monitor fuel usage and track its carbon footprint, providing data-driven insights that support sustainability goals.

“By simplifying compliance, boosting efficiency and improving communication with customers, this technology has enabled us to strengthen our operations and keep pace with a demanding industry,” Hallier concluded.
