Lancing-based transport firm South Link Logistics is proud to be celebrating a successful 2016 having reached an impressive three-million-pound turnover.

Founded in 1991, South Link had an initial turnover of £500,000. Under Co-founder Karl Reidy, the company’s profits have grown exponentially.

South Link has also just celebrated its two-year anniversary of being a member of entrepreneur Hilary Devey’s palletised freight network Pall-Ex, further contributing to South Link’s growth. Being part of Pall-Ex enables South Link to offer customers in the South East an even better service with the ability to transport goods quickly and cost-effectively across the whole of the United Kingdom.

“I’ve worked with a lot of businesses in my time, and South Link Logistics is up there with the best”, commented Hilary, CEO of Pall-Ex.

Co-founder Karl Reidy, added:

“There are so many companies in the South East that rely on South Link to move their goods around the country. If you offer a good service, then opportunities will always arise for company growth. Being part of Pall-Ex has helped us to expand our range of services. We’re delighted with our two recent milestones but we won’t stop there!”

The family-run business operates a fleet of 15 vehicles, with access to 400 further rental vehicles with its partner Allports and employs a team of 25 people.
