Maritime Transport Ltd (Maritime) have launched their new and improved website.

The new look website incorporates everything Maritime, with large, eye-catching images throughout the site, helpful pages with company information, a customer portal and their latest job vacancies from up and down the country.

More accessible than ever before, Maritime’s site is completely responsive, allowing it to be viewed on any device, including smart phones and tablets. Information is provided on each of the services Maritime offer with helpful contact names and numbers available at the touch of a button to ensure ease of use for all visitors to the site.

A Customer Portal has been included which gives access to TOPS Lite, an online version of Maritime’s transport operating system, enabling customers to check the delivery of live jobs whilst also being able to download reports and signed PODs.

All current driver and general job vacancies can be found on the new site, allowing potential new staff to easily apply for a new opportunity with Maritime. Information on their pioneering Professional Driver Scheme, becoming a Sub-Contractor, their relationship with the Commercial Transition Partnership and their current Apprenticeships can also be found easily on the site.

A new venture for the largest container haulage company in the UK will see the unveiling of their brand new eshop over the coming months. Prompted by requests from Maritime’s growing fan base they will be launching their eshop, giving followers the chance to purchase brand new merchandise, including the much anticipated DAF and Scania Tekno model trucks.

Clean and modern in its approach, the new website reflects Maritime better than ever before. “It was clear to us last year that we needed a website that reflected the forward-thinking nature of the business and was easy to view on every device,” said Alex Williams, General Manager – Marketing. “We have been building our profile within the industry for some time now and we recognised the importance of our online presence to give current and potential customers more accessibility to Maritime. We are very proud of the new site and believe it will set us in good stead for years to come.”
