Leading distributor of autoparts and workshop equipment, Andrew Page, has confirmed plans to expand its existing presence in the commercial vehicle aftermarket.
Working with Unipart Autoparts as a key supply partner, Andrew Page will distribute its full TTC offer of truck and trailer parts, complimented by additions to the range from current Andrew Page suppliers such as TMD, Mann & Hummel, LuK, Bosch and Quest consumables. Andrew Page will initially expand its CV parts programme in selected areas of its nationwide network, with a view to a full roll out over the summer this year.
The announcement follows the news that Andrew Page has successfully rebranded its entire national network along with plans to increase its branch network by 50 sites, all helping the company to expand into new market segments with a unified approach.
“We see a significant opportunity to expand our business in the commercial vehicle sector given the absence of a major national player,” said Jim Sumner, executive chairman of Andrew Page. “We already supply a number of local authorities, regional fleets and major airports, so our plans to grow in this sector are built on established foundations.”
Mark Saunders, COO of Andrew Page said: “Our ability to use our distribution network to provide parts within the hour will give major fleets a very competitive proposition.”
Tony Sackett, Managing Director of Unipart Autoparts added: “The TTC brand has been at the forefront of the CV market for 40 years. There is significant demand for the products from national fleets as the market has suffered from a lack of nationwide coverage in recent times. Andrew Page is well placed to capitalise on this market opportunity.”
Over the past 12 months, Andrew Page’s sales have seen double digit growth which is expected to continue through 2015. The growth has been supported by the acquisition of 21 former Unipart Automotive sites, as well as logistical improvements in product distribution and stock replenishment to improve customer availability.
