Noble Foods has once again proven its commitment to operational excellence in the logistics sector, maintaining an impressive 60-year partnership with Logistics UK through outstanding transport compliance and performance.

The long-standing relationship, established in 1962, supports Noble Foods’ extensive logistics operation that manages a remarkable 34 million eggs weekly across 90 daily routes, servicing supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesalers and caterers throughout the United Kingdom.

Highlighting the company’s operational prowess, a recent audit revealed Noble Foods achieved an exceptional first-time pass rate of over 98% in vehicle testing over the past three years. Notably, the company received no prohibitions during enforcement encounters, underscoring its dedication to safety and regulatory compliance.

The company’s logistics infrastructure stands out in the industry, with an average fleet age of just 10 months. In the past year alone, Noble Foods has invested in 58 new Renault vehicles, demonstrating a commitment to modernisation and long-term efficiency. This strategic fleet management is supported by comprehensive maintenance planning, regular safety inspections and meticulous electronic and physical maintenance records.

Transport Managers at Noble Foods have been specifically recognised for their hands-on approach to compliance. Operating from the flagship egg packing centre in North Scarle and from one of the feed mills in Finmere, the team prioritises driver training, license verification and continuous professional development.

A key indicator of the company’s workforce strategy is its low driver turnover rate and robust induction process. Regular Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training and ongoing driver communications ensure consistently high operational standards.

“The audit confirms what we’ve long known about our Logistics business,” said Elizabeth Mott, Noble Foods’ Group Head of Health & Safety. “We really want to represent a benchmark of excellence in food industry logistics, balancing safety, compliance and innovation.”

As Noble Foods continues its six-decade partnership with Logistics UK, the company stands as a testament to how strategic logistics management can drive operational success in the food supply chain.
