Bowker are proud to announce the delivery of one of the UK’s first Volvo FH Aero vehicle, a groundbreaking addition to their fleet made possible by their long-term commercial partners, Thomas Hardie and Volvo Trucks UK. This addition marks another significant milestone in Bowker’s illustrious 52-year partnership with Volvo, a relationship characterised by numerous industry firsts and groundbreaking advancements.
Since Bowker’s initial collaboration with Volvo in 1972, the two companies have forged a partnership built on shared values of innovation, reliability, and excellence. This enduring partnership has seen Bowker lead the way with several “firsts,” Bowker were the Euro 6 launch fleet for Volvo and were the first in the UK to operate both the turbo compound engine and i-See gearbox both of which significantly enhanced their operational efficiency and environmental performance.
