FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, has confirmed that fleet risk and driver training company, Drivetech, will continue as headline sponsor at the seventh FORS Annual Conference on Tuesday 15 October at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.

It is the third year in succession that Drivetech has supported the conference as headline sponsor.

The company is a leading UK and global supplier of driver and fleet safety training, including eLearning, full on-road coaching, workshops and bespoke ‘driver days’. The company is also one of five FORS Audit Providers strategically located throughout the UK. Paving the way for the future of driver education, Drivetech will demonstrate its cutting-edge VR driver training technology live at the event. Attendees can immerse themselves in this interactive experience, designed to enhance safety, boost learning outcomes, and revolutionise training methods.”

Already, over 500 industry professionals have registered to attend the FORS Annual Conference. They can expect a deep dive into decarbonisation, data insights, driver behaviour, Version 7 of the FORS Standard, and more – all designed to keep FORS Accredited Operators abreast of industry trends and ahead of the competition in an increasingly tough market.

The conference also provides a platform for FORS Affinity Partners and FORS Associates to showcase their products and services within a dedicated exhibition zone, while presenting an unmissable opportunity for delegates to network with senior road transport professionals. 50 exhibitors are now confirmed to attend.

Nick Butler, Director of Drivetech, said, “As always, attending exhibitors and speakers for this conference have the ambition to deliver a more efficient transport system, where the safety of our road users takes priority. Our sponsorship aligns perfectly with our ambition to create safer roads for all users, and to create a world where the staggering number of road deaths every year is drastically reduced.”

“We’re building a strong partnership with Drivetech,” added FORS Concession Director, Geraint Davies, “as evidenced by the company’s third year as headline sponsor. Indeed, we welcome a great many FORS Affinity Partners and FORS Champions who are returning this year to showcase their products and services – and some new exhibiting companies too – as we see the conference grow this year. I’m very much looking forward to engaging with individuals from across the transport spectrum and to explore ways in which FORS can further benefit operators.”

The FORS Annual Conference 2024 is free to attend for all FORS Accredited Operators. Further details about the event as well as the opportunity to confirm attendance can be found at https://forsannualconference.com/fors2024/en/page/exhibitors-list
