Professor Richard Wilding OBE, Cranfield School of Management, has won the Logistics100 award at the annual Logistics Awards. The award singles out an individual from the Logistics100, the definitive list of the industry’s 100 most influential individuals, who have created the most significant impact in the previous year.
Professor Wilding was commended at the awards for driving change in the industry, and delivering a vision that engaged with the logistics sector to promote best practice. The award was presented to him at an awards ceremony at The Grange St. Pauls Hotel in London.
Logistics enables local deliveries and international trade and is a foundation of the UK economy. The UK logistics industry has an annual turnover of £1 trillion and employs 8% of the UK workforce.
