The world’s biggest container ship arrives at the Port of Felixstowe today and it is expected to receive hundreds of people at viewing points to witness the occasion.
The CSCL Globe arrives on her first visit to Europe at 1pm to make her only UK call at the Port of Felixstowe.
Guests from the shipping industry have been invited to lunch on the quayside and enjoy a VIP trip round the vessel tomorrow (7 January 2015).
The CSCL Globe is in a league of its own by being able to carry a staggering 19,000 standard-sized shipping containers.
