Bryan Sitko has been appointed Managing Director of Leyland Trucks Ltd, the subsidiary of PACCAR Inc whose factory in Leyland, Lancashire, is the only volume truck maker in the UK.
Mr Sitko takes over the role from Ron Augustyn who is returning to the US to take up another role with PACCAR. Mr Augustyn joined Leyland in September 2012.
Mr Sitko has spent 16 years at PACCAR both in North America and Europe, most recently as Operations Director for PACCAR Parts Europe based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Bryan graduated from the University of Washington in the US. He will relocate with his family from Eindhoven to the Leyland area.
