Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London have officially opened its new Banbury dealership, a new purpose-built building offering a full range of Volvo Truck services, including new and used truck sales located at Unit 7, Cherwell Valley Silos, Twyford, Banbury OX17 3AS.

Arne Knaben, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Volvo Group UK, assisted by Peter Groome, Managing Director of Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London and Graham Nicholls, Operations Director, Cherwell Valley Silos Ltd, all cut a blue Volvo-branded ribbon to declare the new dealerpoint officially open on May 24th May.

The ultra-modern facility contains five double size service bays and a dedicated tachograph lane that will also speed up response times for repairs or calibrations.

The integrated ground floor office block includes a reception area with driver-waiting facilities. In addition, a substantial mezzanine parts store located within the workshop area provides stockholding for a large impressed stock of genuine Volvo parts and Roadcrew supplies.

The new Banbury dealership opening hours are Monday to Friday- 06.00hrs to 22.30hrs and Saturday- 07.00hrs to 13.00hrs and can be contacted on 01295 814000.

Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London have also based their sales administration team in the new Banbury building, which will also serve as the group’s Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) centre for all its dealerpoints. 

The new building, which was constructed on time and on budget by local company, Hawkins Group of Banbury, is equipped with the latest energy saving measures and contains new special tooling and equipment, which includes mobile column lifts, a roller brake tester and integrated oil dispensers.

The site is geared towards excellence in customer service, speed of turnaround and designed to improve vehicle uptime. In addition to Volvo truck, bus and coach servicing and repair, the new Volvo Banbury dealerpoint also offers an all-makes repair, maintenance and diagnostics for trucks and trailers.

The principal site contacts are Paul Miley, Dealerpoint Manager and Tony Jones, Transport Solutions Executive. Karl Love and Craig Williams provide Aftermarket support for both truck, bus and coach respectively, whilst in the workshop, Stephen Eydman and Sam Taylor are the technician supervisors.
