The FORS Practitioner workshops go from strength to strength as Brogan Group helps to mark the 500th FORS Practitioner milestone. James Lewis, SHEQ Director at Brogan Group, FORS Silver member, is not only the 500th Practitioner but also the third to have gained the qualification in his company.
One of the main benefits of being a FORS accredited company is access to fully funded training, including a series of nine FORS Practitioner workshops.
The FORS Practitioner programme provides indispensable tools and information for transport managers to ensure they are promoting and implementing best practice. Delegates completing all nine modules are then awarded the FORS Practitioner qualification.
“We are pleased to congratulate James Lewis and Brogan Group as the 500th FORS Practitioner delegate,” said Anne Johnson, FORS Operations Director. “It is great to see that the company is dedicated to safe and efficient operation as James is the third to complete the Practitioner workshops within the Brogan Group.”
FORS Practitioner workshops are designed to keep fleet managers up to date with industry developments and best practice. The workshops also encourage safe, green and efficient operations and help companies maintain and progress through their FORS accreditation.
“The FORS Practitioner workshops,” said James Lewis, SHEQ Director at Brogan Group, “have been invaluable in providing the knowledge and training to our management team to control and develop our existing logistical management systems, in line with current and forthcoming legislation.
“Since initially registering on the FORS scheme,” he said, “we have witnessed an improved level of knowledge and awareness of the risks to road user safety posed through our logistical operations, management team and our drivers. “
The workshops remain fully funded as a benefit of FORS membership. Individuals completing all nine modules in the series are awarded the FORS Practitioner qualification. For more information on FORS training please see here
