Renault Trucks is to exhibit two trucks from its highly-acclaimed construction range at Tip-ex 2016, 2-4 June, Harrogate International Centre, where the stand (M14-16) will feature a 32-tonne Range K520 8×4 and a 32-tonne Range C460 RK 8×4. Both trucks will be bodied tippers, configured carefully to suit a broad range of multi-axle tipper operations – all with CLOCS-compliant safety systems.
From Renault Trucks’ heavy construction range, the ultra-robust 13-litre Range K520 Day cab features a Thompson ‘Loadmaster Lite’ steel body with an off-road defined NG3 chassis. Designed to carry more weight in the toughest environments with exceptional traction and ground clearance, the Range K is built for heavy duty construction work.
The Night and Day-cabbed Range C460, with new fuel-efficient 11-litre engine, is fitted with a PPG insulated aluminium body to an N3 on-road specification. Providing exceptional mobility on demanding terrain, and off-road mode as standard, the Range C’s optimised payload offers maximum profitability.
Both Range K and Range C offer a range of pre-equipment to simplify and reduce body mounting operations. All Renault trucks are now available with Euro-6 Step C-compliant engines, which can reduce fuel costs by up to two per cent whilst increasing the payload by up to 114kgs.
Nigel Butler, Commercial Director, Renault Trucks UK, says: “Renault Trucks offers a fully integrated service for the UK construction industry and Tip-ex 2016 is the ideal platform for us to showcase our construction range. We look forward to welcoming both customers and prospects to our stand to help them discover more about our fuel-efficient, robust construction trucks and the first-rate back up support from our dealer network.”
