Dearman was recognised in two categories at the influential Business Green Technology Awards.  The company was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Breakthrough Technology category and Toby Peters, Dearman’s Chief Executive, won the Innovator of the Year award.

Commenting on the success, Michael Ayres, Deputy Chief Executive, Dearman, said: “Both Toby’s success in his category and the Commendation for Dearman come after a year of enormous effort and achievement by everyone in the Dearman team.  This recognition reflects not only our ability to develop cutting-edge clean cold technologies, which are both zero-emission and cheaper than polluting alternatives, but also our efforts to change the way people think about energy.”

Recognition by Business Green comes at the end of a year in which Dearman won an RAC Magazine award for Refrigeration Innovation, and was shortlisted for a host of others, including Institution of Engineering and Technology, Air Quality News and Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership awards.

The awards came on the same day that Dearman announced that its zero-emission transport refrigeration system has entered its latest phase of testing, ahead of commercial trials in the coming months.
