Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for help to trace a HGV driver who is thought to have witnessed a fatal crash on the outskirts of Nottingham last month.
The crash involved a Peugeot 207 and a Subaru Impreza on the A6002 Low Wood Road, at Nuthall, close to Junction 26 of the M1, at around 7.30pm on Friday (17 June 2016).
The driver of a DAF lorry (below) with a white cab and a plain dark blue curtain-sided trailer, which was travelling behind the Impreza from the direction of Bulwell towards the M1/A610, stopped at the scene of the crash and got out of the cab, but left before the emergency services arrived.
It is believed that he will have vital information about the collision and the moments leading up to it.

A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Two other people required hospital treatment for their injuries.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Two men aged 19 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
All have been bailed pending further enquiries.
